\u2018TWIST\u2019 EXPLORES THE POWERS AND LIMITATIONS OF NATURE <\/span><\/strong>Botanical artist Christophe Guinet<\/a>, better known as\u00a0Monsieur Plant<\/a>, presents his latest project \u2018TWIST\u2019 which highlights a series of delicately contorted tree trunk\u00a0sculptures<\/a>\u00a0echoing the emotions of nature through their distinct forms.\u00a0The series introduces five unique installation pieces that\u00a0\u2018come straight out of a fantastic and magical universe\u2019<\/em>, modeled in unusual configurations to question the transformative powers and limitations of nature.<\/h4>\n

MONSIEUR PLANT CONTORTS INTRICATE TREE TRUNK SCULPTURES <\/span><\/strong>With \u2018TWIST\u2019, Mr Plant<\/a> continues to explore his affinity for the natural environment and his practice of fusing elements of popular culture with the natural world through the creation of curious sculptures. The\u00a0urban gardener and artist<\/a>\u00a0delicately twists and contorts robust pieces of tree trunk, modeling them into five designs recalling everyday symbols and objects. The series includes \u2018Tree Knot\u2019, \u2018Barbed Wood\u2019, \u2018Nature Lover\u2019, \u2018Wooden Lace\u2019, and \u2018Infinity\u2019 \u2014 each connoting the various emotions that can be found in nature. The hyper-realistic works have been molded into distinct shapes to question the powers of nature and its ability to transform and adapt while testing the bounds of its limitations.<\/h4>\n
