Monsieur Plant carves a series of sneakers out of tree barks and growing fungi.<\/h1>\n

IN THE \u2018MUSHROOM PARTY\u2019 UNIVERSE SNEAKERS GROW NATURALLY
\n<\/strong><\/span>Following our coverage of\u00a0Monsieur Plant<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s unusual\u00a0sculpture<\/strong>\u00a0series of \u2018sneakerium<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018retro flower sneakers<\/a><\/strong>\u2018, the artist rediscovers the beauty in the natural environment with a new collection of\u00a0sneaker<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0art pieces. The shoes carved out of\u00a0plant-based<\/strong>\u00a0natural materials harvested in the heart of the Breton countryside in France, step straight out of a magical universe, the \u2018Mushroom Party\u2019. Intrigued by the diversity and abundance of mushrooms in the area, the creative shapes five fully vegetated sneakers with growing fungi. The composed pop-favorite shoes use botanical life to speak on the theme regarding the cycle of life of everyday objects.<\/h4>\n

BARK, MOSS, LEAVES AND MUSHROOMS SHAPE THESE UNUSUAL SHOES
\n<\/span>Christophe Guinet<\/a> unveils a series of sneakers made solely out of natural materials and plant cuttings. \u2018Indeed, fungi fulfill essential ecological roles in natural ecosystems, without them, trees and plants would quickly die, suffocated by their own waste\u2019<\/em>, shares Monsieur Plant<\/a>. Inspired and amazed, Christophe Guinet winks at this fantastic universe with the quirky \u2018Mushroom Party\u2019 series, consisting of five fully vegetated sneakers with plants harvested in the forest such as bark, moss, autumn leaves, and mushrooms. Playing with man-made codes and using symbols such as sneakers to give them a natural and ethical twist, the artist illustrates nature\u2019s triumph over modern modes of consumption.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
