Monsieur Plant presents TREE HUG, an art installation created in the grounds of the Maison Chateaubriand in Châtenay-Malabry for the Jardins Ouverts festival in Paris and the Île-de-France region.

Through a sculpture of arms embracing a tree trunk, this work pays tribute to trees—silent guardians of our ecosystems and witnesses to the passage of time. This simple, universal gesture evokes attachment, gratitude, and our profound need to reconnect with nature.

Blending poetry and surrealism, TREE HUG blurs the boundaries between the human body and the tree. Like a fusion of the two, it questions our place in nature and reminds us that we share a common balance—one that is as precious as it is fragile.
